Time: 11:00am. Address: 6 Barlow Moor Rd, Didsbury. Beethoven’s ground-breaking piano trio Op. 1, no. 2 in G major is contrasted with Max Bruch’s rarely-heard Trio, op. 5 in C minor.
12/11/22 Manchester Emmanuel Church
Time: 2:00pm. Address: 6 Barlow Moor Rd, Didsbury. Sarah Ewins and Harvey Davies give a presentation to the North West branch of The Elgar Society featuring Elgar’s music for violin and piano and sketching his musical progress from Salon to Concert Hall. We play short works and finish with the great Sonata for violin and piano, Op. 82.
