Description
This is the first CD in a set of four featuring the chamber music of Arnold Cooke (1906-2005). Featuring the 2 Sonatas for violin and piano written in 1939 and 1951 respectively, also on the disc is the Duo for violin and viola (1935) and the Sonata for solo violin (1969). Artists: Benedict Holland – violin, Susie Mészáros – viola and Harvey Davies – piano.
