This is the 2nd CD in the Pleyel Ensemble’s pioneering collection featuring the chamber music of Arnold Cooke (1906-2005). This disc is of his three major works for piano and strings; the Trio (1941-44), Quartet (1948-49) and Quintet (1969). All three works are World Première recordings for MPR Records.
